Rep. Mullin named to House Committee on Natural Resources and House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Mullin (CA-15) celebrated his placement on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

“Each committee presents a unique and promising opportunity to support critical projects that ensure the communities in California’s 15th district flourish and to keep working on the issues I championed during my time in the California Assembly. While on the Assembly’s Budget Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Transportation, I fought to protect the natural resources that make California iconic and beautiful and to ensure our infrastructure is resilient and green. I will continue to work hard to expand climate mitigation strategies like OneShoreline to fight sea level rise and other wetlands restoration projects adjacent to the San Francisco Bay. Californians will have an experienced climate leader on these committees to ensure our state can withstand the most destructive impacts of the climate crisis,” Mullin said. “I’m also excited to be placed on Science, Space, and Technology. I’ll be able to continue my work from the Select Committee on Biotech and to support our vibrant life sciences sector that is leading the way in cutting-edge innovation. I look forward to rolling my sleeves and reaching out to colleagues on both sides of the aisle to deliver for the 15th Congressional district.”
