As our community continues to recover from devastating winter storms and flooding, I want to emphasize that San Mateo County, FEMA, and CalOES are here for you. Residents with damage can now apply for federal disaster assistance until March 16, 2023.

Disaster assistance can cover a variety of claims including, rental payments for temporary housing, grants for home repair and replacement of essential items, unemployment payments for workers who temporarily lost jobs, and more! Please note, if you’re insured, you must first file a claim with your provider.
