Rep. Mullin Celebrates More Than $81 Million for CA-15 Infrastructure at the Close of Infrastructure Week

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Mullin (CA-15) celebrated projects made possible by the historic federal investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), which are investing in clean energy, strengthening roads and bridges, and helping communities across California build climate change resilience.

“Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we have huge wins to celebrate at the close of this year’s Infrastructure Week. To date, the BIL is delivering $20 billion to California alone. That includes $11.1 billion for roads and bridges, like our iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and over $1.4 billion for clean energy and power,” Mullin said. In CA-15, projects like updating San Francisco Airport’s International Terminal are going to strengthen our region’s economic competitiveness and build our infrastructure’s resilience to climate change. With three years of funding remaining, we’ll have many more exciting projects coming to San Mateo County.”

The BIL is delivering more than $81 million in funds to a number of key projects in California’s 15th Congressional District, including:

  • $31,000,000 to Update San Francisco International Airport’s International Terminal
  • $49,350,599 formula grant to San Francisco International Airport
  • $100,000 to Millbrae for drought tolerant landscaping
  • $150,000 to Redwood City for Bayfront Canal flood management
  • $292,000 formula grant to the San Carlos Airport
  • $295,000 formula grant to the San Carlos Airport
