Town Hall Rescheduled Due to Medical Reasons

Due to medical reasons, I have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel and reschedule this week’s town hall. Details on a future date will be announced shortly.

I have been dealing with complications from a recent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. While the initial surgery was successful, I later developed a blood clot in my leg and then late last week was diagnosed with an infection in my knee that required immediate additional surgery and hospitalization.

I am receiving ongoing treatment and am extremely grateful to the tremendous hospital staff for their care. I look forward to a steady recovery and a return to Capitol Hill as soon as the medical staff determines it is safe for me to fly.

Please know that I’m in contact daily with my district staff in San Mateo and my legislative staff on Capitol Hill about congressional business and serving the needs of my constituents.

I know we are living in extraordinary times with the Trump Administration, and I have the same urgent concerns that many constituents have shared with me. While I am currently unable to be in D.C., I am continuing to do all that I can remotely including sponsoring legislation, sending urgent letters to the Administration, and coordinating closely with my Democrat colleagues as we fight back against Trump’s overreach.

It is the honor of my life to serve the constituents of the 15th District. I look forward to being back on my feet in the very near future and seeing you in the community. I will be continuing to share updates about my work on my website and sign up for my newsletter to be notified of when we’ll be rescheduling the town hall.

Thank you,
Congressman Kevin Mullin
